Religion in Egypt
While visiting Egypt one of the things that stuck out the most was religion! It plays a really big part in their everyday lives. Everyone is all about ALLAH! All the mentioning of Allah made me think back to the story The Fisherman and The Jinnee. In this story the fisherman always made mentions to Allah in each and everything he did," I got to witness a lot of the prayers and a lot of people here mention his name in just about everything they do. I actually got to visit one of the popular mosque in Egypt, Mosque of Mohamed Ali. It was located in Cairo. This mosque was very very beautiful. I thought seeing how much religion played in people’s lives was just amazing and pretty different than how we do things here.
